Maryville Elementary Teacher Amanda Curry Named Kahok Educator of the Month for November 2025

The award was presented by Maryville Principal Dr. Charity Eugea and local Benjamin F. Edwards financial advisor Jason Rehg.  

In her nomination of Ms. Curry, Dr. Eugea wrote:

"Ms. Curry embodies what it means to be a Kahok with the heart of a Warrior. She is always envisioning what learning could look like and looking for ways to meet the needs of her students. She empowers her students to set lofty goals and celebrates their growth with them. 


Ms. Curry and her students are achieving great things in the classroom. She is always willing to try new things, collaborate with her colleagues, and go above and beyond not just for her students but for all of us. She truly embodies the essence of what it means to have the heart of a Warrior, meeting every student where they are every day."
