At their September 22, 2025 regular monthly meeting, the CUSD 10 Board of Education honored CHS senior Sara McChristian.

Sara was recognized by the board for being chosen to serve on the 2025-26 Illinois State Board of Education Student Advisory Council.  She is one of 21 students chosen from across the State of Illinois to provide a student voice on matters pertaining to education.  Click to learn more.  
 
She was introduced by Collinsville High School Principal Bobby Wright.  Sara received a certificate of recognition signed by Board President Gary Peccola and Superintendent Dr. Mark B. Skertich.
