CUSD 10 Will Offer CPR, AED and Choking Resuscitation Class for Students and Parents

A hand holds a red heart with the word 'Learn' on it, promoting CPR and first aid.CUSD 10 lead school nurse,  Lisa Sabatino, has announced our district will once again offer Community Outreach CPR for parents and students to learn together.  


Participants can chose either the fall session on Thursday, October 23 or the spring session on Thursday, March 26.  The class will be from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Renfro Elementary School.  

The training will cover CPR, AED use, and choking resuscitation.  The course is open to all students in 4th - 12th grade and their parent(s) or guardian(s).  Students must be accompanied by at least one parent/guardian to participate.  The class is capped at a maximum of 30 participants per session.  

There is a $15 fee per person to cover the cost of the American Trauma Event Management (ATEM) layperson certification card and resource book.
