The 2020 Collinsville High School Junior/Senior Prom is Saturday, April 18, at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at The Arch, St. Louis, MO.
Tickets are $75.00 per person. This price includes dinner, unlimited beverages, dancing, photo booth, ticket, T-shirt and more.
Schedule for the Evening
6:15 p.m. – Doors open; Registration begins
7:15 p.m. – Seating for dinner begins; followed by dinner
8:15 p.m. – Coronation of King & Queen; Dancing immediately follows
11:00 p.m. – Prom concludes
Photographer James Gurley will offer photography services at the prom. Order forms will be included with T-shirt, tickets and information distributed at the April 17th prom assembly. The form will have payment info for this service.
Photographs will be taken in the foyer of the ballroom.
There is a variety of photo packages for individuals, couples and groups ranging from $25-$80.
You must pay for your pictures online ahead of time or with cash or check that night.
If you do not bring your payment or receipt, no pictures.
Pictures will not be taken during dinner or court.We ask that everyone remain seated during this time.
Parent Attendance Policy
Only parents of court participants are permitted to attend the Prom. Their attendance is limited to the coronation ceremony.
EVERY CHS student who attend the Prom MUST attend a mandatory assembly during 7th hour on Friday, April 17. Prom tickets, t-shirts and picture information will be distributed at the assembly. Students will also hear a special presentation.
The Prom assembly is 7th hour on Friday, April 17th.
Students will be dismissed from school following the assembly.
Ticket sales are March 3 – March 13 from 7:15 am-7:45 am. All required paperwork must be in order to purchase tickets. (Listen to daily announcements for information about after-school ticket sales.) Tickets will be sold outside the cafeteria.
All tables seat 10 people. Seating will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. You will be able to choose your table from a seating diagram at the time you purchase your ticket.
The seating diagram will be available for review outside the cafeteria.
One person may purchase a complete table provided he/she has the money to pay for all tickets and has each person’s signed policy guidelines.
TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. No re-sale of tickets is permitted.
Prom Policies & Guidelines Agreement
ALL Prom attendees must sign the Prom & Post-Prom Guidelines and Agreement, including non-CHS attendees.
CHS students may invite a guest who does not attend CHS. Guests are subject to all Prom policies and regulations and MUST also submit a signed policy agreement in order to attend. Non-CHS guests who attend a different high school must have their registration form signed by their high school principal.
A photo ID of the non-CHS guest or a copy of the ID must be provided by the CHS student at the time of payment. In addition, please refer to the Dance Policy from the the CHS handbook:
Collinsville High School students may invite a guest to school dances (homecoming, winter ball, prom, post-prom, etc). All guests must be high school students and/or under the age of 21. No middle school age students or young adults over the age of 20 will be allowed to attend school dances without administrative approval. Guests of CHS students who are not members of the CHS student body may be required to complete a registration form with the main office and may be subject to a background check by law enforcement. The CHS administration will have final authority regarding anyone wanting to attend school functions as guests of students enrolled at CHS.
Additional Important Information
If a change in your escort/date occurs, you must immediately report the change to Ms. Martens in Room 306 or Ms. Romoser in 226. An accurate list of attendees is necessary.
When you arrive at the Hyatt, you will not be allowed to leave and return. Be sure you have everything with you (ticket, phone, identification, etc.) because you will NOT be allowed to leave the venue for any reason and return to prom.
Attendees MUST sit at the table selected when ticket was purchased. Any students who disregard table assignments will be asked to move.
Everyone must arrive on time to dine. Dinner will be served shortly after 7:00 p.m. Beverages will be served free of charge all evening.
Everyone is required to remain seated throughout dinner and coronation.
Students requesting a vegetarian dinner or who have special dietary needs need to submit the request at the time tickets are purchased. There is a vegetarian option, a vegan option & a gluten-free meal option.

Discounted Valet Parking is available for $16.00. (Not available for overnight parking).
- Attendees MUST have a picture ID.
- The Hyatt and Collinsville High School expect only the best behavior from our students and their guests.
- Please remember that this is a school function and all school rules apply. All school policies as outlined in the Student Handbook are in effect.
- Alcohol/drugs are strictly prohibited, and smoking/vaping is not allowed anywhere in or outside the venue.
- There will be security personnel on duty, as well as faculty chaperones.
- Infractions of the rules will result in disciplinary action taken by the school. This may include, but is not limited to, violators being required to leave and/or police apprehending anyone in violation of the no alcohol, drugs or tobacco stipulations.
No one other than ticket holders or chaperones is allowed into the Prom for any reason. Prom court parents/guardians can come for court only.
