The last day of Black History Month was the setting for the Living Museum at Dorris Intermediate School.
Throughout February, students in Ukyah Rawls and Denise Gruber-Cigliana’s 5th grade classes researched African Americans who have made a significant contribution to American culture.
Today the students became their research subjects as they took part in a Living Museum for their schoolmates at DIS. The “displays” were silent until prompted by a museum visitor to recite information.
