The Treehouse Center Visits CMS

The Treehouse Center recently visited Collinsville Middle School. Pam, a Treehouse educator, brought five different owls to show the students as she explained more about them. Students were able to discover and learn about the barred owl, the barn owl, the short-eared owl, the screech owl, and the great horned owl. Students in several classes were able to participate in this wonderful educational opportunity. Students and staff also received their own picture taken with Cappuccino, the barn owl, thanks to Eric Blokemker. Ms. Pride reminds us that it is up to all of us to help children learn about the beautiful animals and trees that we are so fortunate to enjoy! It was a great time for all “whooo” attended!
