Collinsville High School was recognized at SIU-Carbondale's Foreign Language Scholar Bowl for every year sending a team to compete in each of the 8 divisions. Five of the teams brought home trophies. Winning first place were the upper level Spanish and Latin teams and lower level Latin team. Both the upper and lower level French teams won 2nd place. The lower level German team won its first match handedly, but due to a scheduling error was unable to advance in competition. Congratulations to all who participated.
