H.A.R.T. Trauma & Grief Team of

The H.A.R.T. team from the Collinsville Unit  10 School District is one of the first in the St. Louis Metropolitian area.  The members have received certification from the National Institute for Trauma and Loss in Children.  Each member holds certification in TLC Trauma and Loss School Specialist.  Some members have recently completed the TLC Trauma and Loss Consultant certification. 

The H.A.R.T. team will be activated during any event that causes a state of heightened emotions and interrupts the normal daily routine.  Research has shown that when there is no intervention applied, the result is chaos.  Our H.A.R.T. team will be brought into a school building to assist the students, staff, and administration in dealing with an unexpected event.

What does H.A.R.T. mean?
