Teachers at
Collinsville Middle School keep abreast of the
latest methods of delivering instruction.
They frequently take advantage of staff
development opportunities that are offered in
the district and through universities, in
addition to attending conferences. We recognize
that students learn in different ways, and we
use a variety of instructional strategies to
address the different learning styles of
students.
Teachers are encouraged to work together as a
team regardless of grade level. Teachers
also work across grade levels regularly to
ensure a continuum of learning that makes sense
for the students. With proper scheduling, our
teaching teams are set up to have complimenting
planning times, to make sure every teacher is
teaching to the standards and that each is clear
on what our students need to know and be able to
do.
